Battle Buddy Resource Center is having a food drive to help feed families in need.

Combating hunger one can at a time” is the Battle Buddy Resource Center’s motto.

The center, located at Building 488, is a food bank and ministry outreach for the Fort Benning community.

Each week volunteers and workers at the center send families home with nutritious food and other essentials.

The BBRC gets the majority of its food from Feed the Valley, a community food bank that services food banks in the Columbus area. However, they do accept donations of nonperishable food items, and other essentials like diapers, laundry soap, trash bags, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. The center also takes volunteer applications during regular hours of operation.

Chicken & dumplings, collards, peach cobbler & banana pudding catered by Nettas Southern Flava. Lunch will be served in the Flightways lobby at 12:00PM. We want to show our tenants some LOVE by offering an ADDITIONAL $0.50 OFF per gallon on Valentine’s day through the weekend. Friday, Feb. 14th through Sunday, Feb. 18th All tenants are encouraged to attend!

COME CELEBRATE FRIDAY, JANUARY 19, 2018

Flightways is celebrating another year to “Get to Know your Customers Day” by serving soup, sandwiches, chips & dessert! Lunch will be served in the Flightways lobby around 12:00PM. We will also be offering an ADDITIONAL $0.50 OFF per gallon And extending the weekend discount!! Friday, Jan.19th through Sunday, Jan. 21st All tenants are encouraged to attend!

Young Eagles Rally February 25

Discover the fun and freedom of personal aviation on the last Saturday of the month, 8:30AM-11:30AM. Young Eagles is a program for youth, ages 8-17 to learn to fly with experienced pilots at no charge. The flight is typically 15 – 20 minutes depending, the kids will receive a certificate & a log book.
